No.  This recipe is not Whole Life Challenge approved. Use it for those in your house, like I did, who eat paleo/primal but aren’t on the no sugar train.  Honestly, you could use it for non-paleo peeps, too.  From what I’m told, it was very good. Sadly, I couldn’t taste test myself but Im assured in it’s tastiness. I mean, it would be really hard to screw this flavor combo up.  The recipe is absurdly easy:



1/4 cup unsalted, creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temp
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch salt

1) Put everything in a mixing bowl and blitz with a hand mixer on medium speed for three minutes.  It will get creamier and fluffier as you incorporate air.

That’s it. Really. It’s a pretty perfect icing for chocolate cupcakes if you ask me.  I would bet you could serve these anywhere and no one would know that they only have a bit of syrup in there. Go nuts.
