I can’t believe my week of smoothies is almost over! There are still so many more recipes and ideas out there I bet I could do a month.  I’m feeling great after the past five days.  Yes, at the end of the day I am definitely looking forward to a hot meal that requires chewing, but I have been fully satisfied through yoga, workouts, and work during this entire experiment!

Coffee, eggs, chocolate, banana…all in one hit? Yes, please.  This recipe results in a more creamy texture, but if you’d like a thicker more ‘milkshake’ texture, go with frozen bananas in stead of fresh.

Mocha Morning Shake

1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup brewed coffee
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 banana
1 tbsp date puree
1 egg
