Basil oil is crazy easy and goes on just about everything. I’m a big fan of it on top of seafood, though…scallops, swordfish, one fish, two fish, red fish…you get the point.  It’s also pretty great as a salad dressing if you get super bored of oil and vinegar. Anyway, below if the 6 ingredient recipe that takes roughly four and a half seconds to make. Try not to strain yourself.

For about 6 tbsp of finished product:

A handful of fresh basil
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
Squeeze of lemon juice
1 garlic clove
salt and pepper

Throw everything into a blender of food processor and whizz. That’s it. Refrigerate until ready to use.

You end up with this really bright green oil that can makes anything look like you put a whole lot of effort into it.
